Workshop: Diversity at SUND: Awareness of Bias

Are you interested in discussing diversity, equality, and inclusion at SUND? 
The dean is hosting three thematic meetings, each focusing on a different aspect of diversity, equality, and inclusion. These meetings will be facilitated by three external speakers, each addressing a different topic.

About the talk

Presentation on bias and what this means for us as individuals and for the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences as an institution. The theme meeting aims to provide participants with a broader framework of understanding for the inherent biases that exist in everyone and how to work around them to promote better inclusion.
The speakers
Poornima Luthra, Associate Prof. at the Department of Organization at CBS and Dr. of Philosophy from the National University of Singapore and expert in HR with special emphasis on diversity and inclusion in the workplace and author of the book ‘Diversifying Diversity’.
In addition, she runs her own consultancy company TalentED and works with diversity and inclusion in some of the largest Danish companies, including Carlsberg, Maersk, Kromann Reumert and others​​​.


Jannick is Lead Diversity and Inclusion Engagement Partner in Novo Nordisk and Postdoc Researcher at CBS where in recent years he has researched in DEI — Diversity, Equity & Inclusion — and taught leadership within social sustainability and CSR with a focus on LGBT+ equality in Danish workplaces and the labor market in general.
